Thank you for visiting the Stories from website. Stories from was established in order to create stories that are taken from local communities. So far we have adapted stories from the refugee and special needs community with plans to release stories from the Orang Asli (indigenous) and trafficked communities. When the books are sold the proceeds are split 50/50 between the community and stories from. Stories from uses its 50% to fund future projects. For example: In our first book, 'Almost Home,' 50% of the proceeds were given back to the refugee school that provided the stories. The remaining 50% was then put towards the next project which tells the stories of people with special needs: 'As Life Found Me'. Everyone who works for Stories from does so for free, so our only expense is printing. If you would like to be part of the stories from team or have some stories you'd like to share, please get in touch with us on our contact page. Thanks for reading and we hope you enjoy learning about the work that we do.
